Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival In Nairobi And Transfer To Hotel

Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.. Our representatives will be waiting for your arrival and guide you to your transportation. Check-in to hotel in Nairobi. You’ll have free-time to spend exploring the area or to rest. Overnight stay in Nairobi hotel.

Day 2: Transfer From Nairobi To Lake Nakuru National Park With Afternoon Game Drive

  • After an early breakfast, we check-out and head to the beautiful Great Rift Valley for one of their beautiful lakes, Lake Nakuru National Park. We’ll arrive in time for brunch and to check-in at your hotel/lodge and drop off your luggage before lunchtime. Your afternoon is free for you to spend to explore the local area or just to rest after a long ride here.
  • Lake Nakuru is well known in Kenya as one of the most beautiful and rich lakes of the Great Rift Valley, where you can observe a handful of faunas here. Located at 1.7 km above sea level, the freshwater system here brims with life with the pink flamingos turning the lake into fuchsia being some of the most remarkable sightings. There are also waterbucks, hippopotamuses, and several grazing species such as impalas and giraffes.
  • By evening time, we’ll invite you on a safari game drive around here to catch sightings of these animals, and with luck, you might see glimpses of small packs of lions around here. The lush forestry and bushes, the wildlife that flourishes, and just being back to nature; these are things you should never missed in life!
  • We’ll return in time for dinner before going back to the hotel/lodge for an overnight at Lake Nakuru.
  • (Full Board – Dinner, Bed, Breakfast and Lunch)

Day 3: Early Morning Game Drive And Transfer From Lake Nakuru To Lake Naivasha With Boat Ride

  • Enjoy your breakfast at Lake Nakuru before we check-out and head to the other lake of Great Rift Valley we’ll be visiting: Lake Naivasha. After one hour and 45 minutes, we’ll reach outside the town of Naivasha where another beautiful freshwater lake of the Great Rift Valley can be seen. The name translates in the local Maasai name as “rough water” due to the volatile weather and sudden storms are often observed in this area. It is slightly higher than Lake Nakuru and is seated at 1.8km above sea level.
  • If Lake Nakuru is a perfect spot to view wildlife, Lake Navisha offers a different experience where visitors can take a boat ride and take the observation closer than ever. For an hour, you can observe hippopotamuses and the thriving bird species that rely on this lake.
  • We’ll head back to where your hotel/lodge and enjoy your dinner with a beautiful view of the lake to accompany your meal before spending an overnight here.
  • (Full Board – Dinner, Bed, Breakfast and Lunch)

Day 4: Transfer From Lake Naivasha To Masai Mara With First Mara Game Drive

  • After breakfast, get ready on another exciting day in the Great Rift Valley and check-out. We’ll head to Masai Mara Game Reserve today and make a temporary stop at Lenchada Camp/Keekrook Lodge to check-in and drop your luggage. We’ll be in time for lunch before continuing down to the reserve. Stock up as we’ll have a long exciting day exploring the park for wildlife sighting.
  • Masai Mara is also known locally as the Mara, this National Reserve is a famous wildlife conservation park where the rivers Mara and Talek crosses. One can also find several villages of Maasai people around the area. Maasai Mara has all of the “Big Five” animals: lions, leopards, African elephants, African buffaloes, and black rhinoceros. The park is also known for being home to one of the largest cheetah populations.
  • We’ll return as the sun goes down to Olmoran Tented Camp dinner before spending the night here.
  • (Full Board – Dinner, Bed, Breakfast and Lunch)

Day 5: Full-day In Masai Mara Game Drive

  • The day starts early in Masai Mara because nature never sleeps. You can choose how to spend your day here, either a full-day game drive experience with a picnic lunch experience, or enjoy a morning and evening drive.
  • We’ll head out by 6.30 AM to catch nocturnal animals going about their life and catching their last prey of the day before retreating back to their nests and burrows. Catching glimpses of these subtle animals can be rather tricky, but it’s still a worthwhile trip as they’re on our way to catch a view of the sunrise. By 8.30 AM, we’ll be back at the camp for a buffet breakfast and we’ll leave you spend the day at your own pace, whether it’s to catch more sleep before lunch or to explore the area around. Lunch takes place at 12.30 PM and if you opted for a full-day game drive, we’ll go on a picnic lunch.
  • In between the drives, you get to visit a nearby, local Masai Village at an extra cost. The people of Masai villages are known for their friendliness and with this drive, you get to see what life is like for some of the oldest African Tribes to reside within the valley. The people still practice their traditional way of living among nature, unadulterated by modern-day civilization.
  • From the camp, we’ll head out at 4 PM for a game drive through the park to catch glimpses of the games in the afternoon. Masai Mara is a favourite of wildlife enthusiasts especially around July to November when zebras and gnus would cross the area as part of their annual migration. Enjoy the ride and we’ll head back to the camp as the sun sets and in time for dinner and to spend the night here.
  • (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Day 6: Transfer From Masai Mara To Nairobi

  • Enjoy your breakfast and final views of Masai Mara and the Great Rift Valley before we leave the camp. We’ll drive back to Nairobi from here and arrive by evening and in time for dinner at Carnivore Restaurant for dinner. We’ll spend an overnight in Nairobi after checking in at the hotel.
  • (Breakfast)

Day 7: Departure From Nairobi
