Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival In Nairobi & Transfer To Hotel

Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Our representatives will be waiting for your arrival and guide you to your transportation. Check-in to your hotel in Nairobi. You’ll have free-time to spend exploring the area or to rest after the journey. Overnight stay at the hotel in Nairobi.

Day 2: Transfer From Nairobi To Masai Mara National Reserve With Game Drive Of The Big Five

  • Enjoy an early breakfast before we check out. At 8 AM, we’ll head out from the hotel with The Great Rift Valley Observation Point as our first destination for a photo stop. As implied by the name, the Great Rift Valley View Point serves as a beautiful entry point with a spectacular view of the vast stretch of the Great Rift Valley. After a four-hour long ride from the hotel, the view here is the kind that makes you forget the fatigue, but we have even started yet!
  • From the view point, we will descend the escarpment, which was a naturally formed rampart structure and before finally reaching Maasai Mara. Also known locally as the Mara, this National Reserve is a famous wildlife conservation park where the rivers Mara and Talek crosses. One can also find several villages of Maasai people around the area. We’ll reach Camp by 1 PM ideally for buffet lunch. Stock up as we’ll have a long exciting day exploring the park for wildlife sighting. Maasai Mara has all of the Big Five animals: lions, leopards, African elephants, African buffaloes, and black rhinoceros. The park is also known for being home to one of the largest cheetah populations.
  • We’ll return as the sun goes down to your Camp for dinner before spending the night here.
  • (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Day 3: Full-day In Masai Mara Game Drive

  • The day starts early in Masai Mara because nature never sleeps. We’ll head out by 6.30 AM to catch nocturnal animals going about their life and catching their last prey of the day before retreating back to their nests and burrows. Catching glimpses of these subtle animals can be rather tricky, but it’s still a worthwhile trip as they’re on our way to catch a view of the sunrise.
  • By 8.30 AM, we’ll be back at the camp for a buffet breakfast and we’ll leave you spend the day at your own pace, whether it’s to catch more sleep before lunch or to explore the area around. Lunch takes place at 12.30 PM.
  • From the camp, we’ll head back out at 4 PM for a game drive through the park to catch glimpses of the games in the afternoon. Masai Mara is a favourite of wildlife enthusiasts especially around July to November when zebras and gnus would cross the area as part of their annual migration. Enjoy the ride and we’ll head back to the camp as the sun sets and in time for dinner and to spend the night here.
  • (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Day 4: Full-day In Masai Mara Game Drive

  • Wake up to another delightful morning in the bush. Depart for an early morning game drive. Early morning are lovely moments to see the nocturnal animals trying to get the last catches before they go to sleep. These also best moments to see the glorious sun as it rises. Return to the camp for buffet breakfast. Rest of the morning spent at leisure. Have lunch at the camp. After lunch relax before getting ready for afternoon game drive. Depart for an afternoon game drive. Return to the camp for dinner and then overnight.
  • (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Day 5: Departure From Nairobi

  • We start the day early with breakfast at the camp. By 8.30 AM, we will ride for Nairobi City and stop at Tamambo Restaurant for your lunch. Depending on your flight home, we’ll go on a short city tour and enjoy a last-minute shopping for souvenirs before heading to JKI Airport for your flight back home.
